Social media and other media platforms are filled with birthday wishes for our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Keeping in mind the celebratory mood, Maa Vande- a biopic on the life of the Prime Minister has been announced, starring Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan as the lead, directed by Kranthi Kumar CH.
Unni Mukundan known for his phenomenal acting in films like Marco, have expressed his admiration and pride for being chosen for this great role, citing one of his personal experience, he talks about the determination and inspiration drawn from the leader as he says “ two words” that stayed with him for life “Jhookvanu Nahi” meaning “Never Bow Down” and adds how these words have provided him the strength and resolve to face any situations out there.
As per sources, the plot of Maa Vande will deeply focus on the relationship dynamic between Modi ji and his mother, Heeraben Modi, who helped in shaping the man he is today. The film aspires to look beyond the statesmanship and political aspect of the Prime Minister, hinting towards an emotional yet heroic journey. The director of the film, Kranthi Kumar, states that this movie was a result of years of journey “under the guidance and encouragement of Honourable Health Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri Satya Kumar Yadav Ji,” a vision which was manifested into a fulfilling reality. The film is co-produced by Veer Reddy.
As of now, only the poster of the movie has been unveiled, including the main lead as mentioned. The film comes under the production house called Silver Cast Creations, and the technicians involved are Senthil Kumar, Ravi Basrur, and others. It has been set to release in various Indian languages to create a mass appeal to the diverse Indian audiences, as well as in English to generate a response internationally. While reactions have been solid from the people, some are already excited, and some are apprehensive about the storyline.
