    Indian Accent, New Delhi: This iconic restaurant was established by Rohit Khatter in 2009. This restaurant has two outlets also, one in Mumbai and another in New York City, USA. Indian Accent was previously placed at The Manor hotel for eight years and is now moving to The Lodhi in 2017. Some popular cuisines are braised lamb shank with Punjabi kadhi, arbi bitterballen with caper kasundi chutney, and black dairy dal. This restaurant is supervised by the executive chef, Chef Shantanu Mehrotra. He has been there since 2009.

     The restaurant has won various awards over the years. Also featured in Conde Nast Traveller as Best 50 Restaurants and has been on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list since 2013. Indian Accent is on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list of 2024.

    Avartana, ITC Grand Chola, Chennai: Avartana, a Sanskrit word, means rhythm, mysticism, and magic. This restaurant is influenced by and follows a menu that mixes the flavors of San Francisco-style cooking. With a strong focus on shareable plates, the menu draws from various culinary traditions, spanning Thai, Japanese, French, and American influences. They are experts in crafted dishes such as the signature ginger-glazed boneless chicken wings and the vibrant Sobo Salad, featuring Hass avocado and fresh greens.

    Wasabi By Morimoto, Mumbai: As the name suggests, they offer their guests authentic Japanese cuisine and dishes. Recognized by San Pelligrino as one of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016, their ingredients, including seafood and Wasabi, are specially sourced from Japan. Their popular as well as signature dishes like White fish carpaccio, Black cod miso, Wasabi crème brûlée, areso unique. The ambience is truly inspired by a typical Japanese home, and the bar menu features an excellent selection of saké, Japanese whisky, and plum wine.

    Cavatina by Avinash Martins, Goa: This famous restaurant has been ranked as one of India’s top 30 chefs by Culinary Culture Co. in 2022. Opened in 2012, their cuisine has a touch of continental and western flavour. All cooking ingredients are collected from around the state, and creative cooking techniques lead to a reimagining of local classics.
