    Man Killed Partner, Uses Incense To Cover Murder

    In a disturbing event in Jawahar Colony, Faridabad, a 49-year-old man named Jitendra, also known as Bobby, has been apprehended for the murder of his live-in partner, Sonia, aged 40. Following the crime, he concealed her body within a bed box at their residence. The situation was uncovered when a strong odor prompted neighbors and the landlord to investigate.

    According to police, the murder occurred on April 21, following a heated dispute between Jitendra and Sonia. During the altercation, Sonia made a remark regarding Jitendra’s 20-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, which incited Jitendra’s anger, leading him to strangle Sonia with a rope in a fit of rage.

    After the murder, Jitendra placed Sonia’s body inside the storage space under the bed. To hide the smell of the body, he burned incense sticks for two to three days. shockingly, he continued to live in the same room during this time. As the smell grew worse, Jitendra locked the room and leave their house and He told the landlord and other people also in the building that a rat had died in the room, that’s why it smelled bad.

    Following the murder, Jitendra concealed Sonia’s body in the bed box. To cover up the odor of the dead body, he burned incense sticks for two to three days. He remained in the same room throughout this period. Jitendra secured the room and vacated the house, informing the landlord and other residents in the building that a rat had perished in the room, which was the source of the unpleasant smell.

    Further, the police said that Jitendra and Sonia had been living together for about a year. Both had lost their previous spouses. They were staying in a rented house on the first floor of landlord Surender Singh’s house. After the arrest, Jitendra was taken into police custody for further investigation.
