Apple is back—with their new launch, which is scheduled on 9th September 2025, will be a dream day for all the tech lovers out there. Announcement of the date was carried through various media invitations and updates that were posted on the official website of the company. The event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theatre at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, on Tuesday at 10:am Pacific Time (1:00 p.m. ET). The event will be available for streaming via Apple’s Events page, its official YouTube channel and Apple TV app. The event is tagged as Awe Dropping, possibly hinting that the future products will be no less than jaw-droppingly awesome.
What to expect at the launch?
From various rumours and speculations of multiple tech sources, one thing that has been expected is the introduction of the new line of iPhone 17 succeeding the iPhone 16 models, including new Apple Watches and loads of software. In an investor note referenced by 9 to 5 mac of Jeff Pu, Haitong International Securities analyst–the line will include four models: iPhone 17 with 6.1-inch display, iPhone 17 slim with 6.6-inch display, iPhone 17 pro with 6.3-inch display and iPhone 17 pro max with 6.9 inch display these new models will replace the “Plus” and offer a “Slim” design in comparison to the earlier iPhone 15 and 16 models.
In another report by analyst Ross Young, the iPhone 17 Plus model will consist of smaller displays in comparison to the other Plus models. In terms of storage, performance and other features, iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 slim will feature 8GB RAM, A18 or A19 chip, and the Pro and Max will feature 12GB RAM and A19 Pro chip, reportedly. To add, the iPhone 17 slim is also being called as iPhone 17 Air, according to the latest reports, for being as thin as 5.65mm. Other gadgets that are expected to be launched at the event are Apple Watch 11, Watch Ultra 3 and AirPods Pro 3.
The new Watch models reportedly include various health-related features like Blood Pressure monitoring, Blood Glucose tracking tools, and Apple Intelligence comprises an improved Siri. All the new iPhones will be incorporating iOS 26 encompassing various new intelligence features, but one that kicks the bucket is the feature of seamless language translations of messages and live translation for voice communication, while other specs are yet to be unveiled.
Expected Prices:
According to a tweet of Walter Bloomberg, who cites Jefferies analyst Edison Lee in referencing the rumoured price hike on the new line of iPhone 17 models, remarks that there will be a $50 increase for the Slim, Pro, and Pro Max models in order to battle rising component costs and China Tariffs. Therefore, the estimated prices will start at $849- $1249 (ranging from base models to the Pro Max ones). In India, the models are rumoured to start at an estimated price of Rs 89,900, and the all-new hyped iPhone Air model would cost around Rs 99,990 and for the pro/pro max models, the amount will range from Rs 1,34,999 to Rs 1,64,990, respectively.
Lastly, it’s not until the launch event that we will get to know the reality surrounding all the speculations and rumours that have successfully triggered a rush of excitement and a heap of expectations in consumers for the company. Keeping in mind the successful run of Google Pixel 10 event, it can be said that, with Apple’s launch date coming closer, it can easily compete with the former.
