Punjab Kings have signed New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson as a replacement for Lockie Ferguson, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury. Jamieson, a tall and aggressive fast bowler, has joined PBKS for INR 2 crore. His inclusion is expected to bring balance and depth to the team’s bowling unit.
Gujarat Titans have brought in Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Mendis to replace Jos Buttler, who will depart after GT’s final league match against Chennai Super Kings on May 25, 2025. Buttler is set to return for national duties, and the replacement will be effective from May 26. Mendis has been signed for INR 75 lakh and is likely to add stability to the top order with his composed batting style.
Lucknow Super Giants have also made a strategic move by roping in New Zealand pacer William O’Rourke as a replacement for Mayank Yadav, who is sidelined due to a back injury. O’Rourke, known for his pace and control, will join the LSG camp at a reserve price of INR 3 crore.
