A horrifying episode has surfaced from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur district. A triple murder case has sent shockwaves throughout the region after a man allegedly killed his parents along with his sister over a land dispute. The accused fled the scene after being spotted by the neighbours.

The triple murder took place in Ghazipur’s Dilia village, where a 35-year-old man attacked his family members with an axe. As per the reports, the man was enraged over his father’s decision to give a portion of land to his sister. The screams alerted the neighbours, who rushed towards the house and later informed the police.
The accused had fled the scene on being spotted by the neighbours.
Police have taken the dead bodies into custody and have started an investigation. The accused has been identified as 35-year-old Abhay. The victims have been identified as Shivram Yadav (father), Jamuni Yadav (mother), and Kusum (accused’s sister).
Family Members Killed Over Land Dispute:
According to the preliminary reports, Abhay had murdered his family members over a land dispute. About a month ago, Shivram (Abhay’s father) had transferred 15 Biswa of land to his daughter, Kusum.
The decision left Abhay dissatisfied and full of anger which led to frequent arguments in the household. Shivram owned around 3 bighas of land in total.
A police team along with senior police officials, SP Dr. Iraj Raja, ASP City Gyanendra Nath Prasad, and CO City Shekhar Singh reached the crime scene after receiving the information. An axe was recovered from the crime scene which is believed to have been used as a murder weapon by Abhay.
Troubled Past Deepens The Tradegy:
According to information revealed by the neighbours, Kusum got married 15 years ago, but was abandoned by her first husband, and has been living with her parents since then. Around 8 years ago, she got re-married but her second marriage also failed. After the failure, Kusum returned to her parents’ home and started living there permanently.
Her presence and the transfer of land increased the tensions between her and Abhay. The situation worsened on Sunday morning, when a heated argument occurred. Abhay allegedly attacked his parents and sister with an axe.
The neighbours got alerted by the screams, by the time they reached the house, all three family members had succumbed to their injuries and Abhay fled.
Police are conducting a detailed investigation and a manhunt is underway to located the accused. The gruesome episode has sent shockwaves throughout the village.
