Cardi B has been making statements with her recent appearances at Paris Fashion Week. From Schiaparelli to Rahul Mishra, she had the stage, sitting front row. The Paris Haute Couture Week Fall/Winter 2025/26, which has finished, was nothing short of aesthetic, artistic, glamorous, and drama was stolen by Cardi B.
Cardi B, who enters her Madonna persona, says ‘She is going to take Fashion seriously’ in an interview with Vogue. Paris Couture Week was the right place for her to land, and boy, did she ace it. The music pop star moulds with fashion and takes power, rightly so, and effortlessly, as she always does. She made headlines, heads turned in awe, and went viral on fashion-gram. Her collaboration with veteran design houses and global brands is not just about wearing a label, but puts her signature charm on it and declares her a fashion muse.
She has been seen high-flying at many brands’ couture shows this season in Paris, which include Schiaparelli, Balenciaga, Rahul Mishra, and Margiela.
To kick off the lookbook Fall/Winter 2025, her first appearance was at Schiaparelli’s show wearing one of their collections from 2024

A maxi gown with a steep neckline, with a plastron (typically worn over a dress as an ornament of decoration) of fringes adorned with pearls. Not many accessories were to complement the look, except a drop pearl earring and a live crow. Yes, a live bird which she quotes as her best friend, regardless, it was to give us a segue to her upcoming album ‘Am I the Drama?’ in which the crow was an unpaid main actor besides Cardi B.

Later that day, she makes a romantic entrance with a floor-length 3D Wildflower rose blooming dress by Rahul Mishra from his collection that was made for the day’s runway show. The body-hugging dress had a go-to deep neckline and red rubies embellished on it, with 3D flowers sticking out from the back, giving it a halo effect symbolizing the ‘stages of love’ theme.

On July 8, she made an appearance at the Stephane Rolland Haute Couture show with a modest black and white gown with a high neck collar and built shoulders. A veil-like pod that covers her head extends up to her hips. The accessories were minimal, with a refined crystal face piercing. This look was ‘the one’, in which she gave herself to couture and not just surface-level fashion.

Later that day, the damsel in distress made way to the Ashi Studio Haute Couture show, almost giving runaway princess vibes. This would be the most anticipated look, from the singer, because she has been exploring every arena, and she gave us ‘channelising the feminine’ charms even. The high-low lace dress, frilly at the right places, was romanticized with long fish braid and fringes. The monochrome pointy heels with eclectic anklets brought the look together.

On July 9, the show where Demna bids farewell to Balenciaga as Creative Director, Cardi B gave us a stunning appearance in a sheer black floral lace dress with a high slit that begins from the hip. The voluminous air-brushed curls were a bit much, contrasting with the whole look. The black pointy nails and pencil heels, the sheer black tights, and the bold red lipstick blended well with the ensemble

The European chic look was so un-Cardi B but so Parisian. The final look from this year’s Fall/Winter 2025/26 Paris Couture Week was for and from The Maison Margiela. The oversized trench coat, the knee-high boots complemented by the beret, oval sunglasses, and a big, thick hoop, rounded the look. The pulled-back sleek bun and subtle makeup all got together so well, she might blend in with the French crowd
Cardi B has always been one for fashion. This year, she chose to explore and take risks. Maybe it was a calling card, a conscious move for the spotlight? Overall, she had a blockbuster at this season’s Paris Couture Week, and she made it her own. Whether she was the face of the brands or Fashion Week gave her a spot to get into fashion, they worked together so well.
