Afghan Boy Sneaks Into Aircraft Landing Gear, Reaches Delhi

A teenage boy from Afghanistan was apprehended by the airline personnel and was handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force. Following this, these personnel took the boy to Terminal 3 of the airport to question him.

    Detailed Information:

A 13-year-old boy from Afghanistan landed safely in Delhi after secretly hiding in the aircraft’s gear compartment. The flight had departed from Afghanistan’s Kabul. The incident took place on the morning of Sunday, but surfaced online upon the aircraft’s arrival at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.

The teenage boy managed to enter the restricted area at the Kabul Airport, where he hid himself inside the central landing gear compartment of KAM Air flight RQ-4401.

The airline’s chief security officer noticed a teenage boy roaming around the aircraft once it had landed in Delhi. The officer alerted the airport’s Security Operations Control Centre about the incident. The boy was apprehended by the aircraft staff and was handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The CISF took the boy towards Terminal 3 to inquire about him.

According to the initial findings, the teenager claimed that he had boarded the aircraft out of curiosity. He was a native of Kunduz city in Afghanistan. He did not have much knowledge of how dangerous it could have been for him to travel in the gear compartment. After questioning, the boy was sent back to Afghanistan via the same aircraft around 12 PM on Sunday.

The KAM Airlines carried out an inspection of the landing gear compartment, where the teenage boy had been hiding throughout the flight. They discovered a small red speaker, which was assumed to be that of the teenager. A proper check was done, which included the anti-sabotage measures as well. After a thorough examination, the aircraft was declared to be fully safe.

Know How People Reacted To The Incident:

A social media user “Dr Mukul Agrawal” added a post to his X account about the incident.

He said that the incident was unbelievable. He was shocked that the plane was flying at a higher altitude, which had low levels of oxygen, extremely cold temperatures, and high altitude pressure, which the boy survived and landed safely in Delhi.

Another page named “Laughing Colours” added a post to their X account, which had details of the same incident.

In their post, they mentioned “Afghan teen cheats death.”
