At a joint press briefing conducted by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, and Air Force Wing Commander Vyomika Singh today on “Operation Sindoor, they informed the nation on the developments at the India-Pakistan border. Colonel Sofiya Qureshi stated during the briefing that the Pakistani army is constantly attacking the western borders; it has attacked Indian military installations using fighter jets, drones, long-range weapons, and loitering munitions. Although Pakistan’s attempt to infiltrate via air at more than 26 locations was foiled, our equipment and personnel at the air force bases in Udhampur, Bhuj, Pathankot, and Bathinda suffered minimal damage. They launched swift-moving missiles at the Punjabi air base at 1:40 am in the morning.

“The Pakistan Army has been seen advancing its forces, suggesting an offensive with the goal of further intensification. The Indian military has successfully repelled and responded to all hostile actions, and it remains highly operationally prepared. As long as Pakistan reciprocates, the Indian military has reaffirmed its commitment to non-escalation,” stated Air Force Wing Commander Vyomika Singh.
The Indian military responded quickly and strategically by launching a precision strike against only designated military targets. With allegations of destroying the Indian S-400 system at Adampur, the airfields at Suratgarh and Sirsa, the BrahMos base at Nagrota, the RT gun positions at Dehrangyari and Chandigarh Forward Ammunition Depot, and causing significant damage to other military installations, Pakistan has also attempted to carry out a persistent malicious disinformation campaign on social media. India vehemently disputes these falsehoods spread by Pakistan, she continued.

The assertion that the Air Force Station in Sirsa was destroyed is wholly untrue, as are claims that significant portions of India’s vital power, cyber, and infrastructure systems were attacked and demolished, along with the completely ludicrous assertion that Indian missiles have attacked Afghanistan. It is important to note that Afghans are already aware of which nation has repeatedly targeted civilian populations and infrastructure in Afghanistan over the past one and a half years. Misri said
