The Telugu film industry is in a spiral as the new track from the film “They Call Him OG” was released before the official film opening. DVV Entertainment on their social media account unveiled the same with the striking cover picture featuring OG himself, played by Pawan Kalyan. The music of the film is composed by Thaman S, with rap lyrics created by Adviteeya and sung by Harsha D.
The track is an audio-visual masterpiece with detailed animation featuring neon and dark colour palette the cinematography of the scenes also featuring guns, swords and fighting sequences creates an idea about the plot of the movie which is most surely going to be raw, brutal and action filled with lyrics featuring both English and Telugu language points towards a perfect fusion of diversity almost giving retro gangster feels, the video earned huge reaction online with the audiences excitement loosing its boundaries they can’t get seem to get enough of the song and the upcoming film, the people were seen commenting ‘best song of the decade’, ‘All Hail OG’, ‘absolute goosebumps’, ‘Thaman is fire’, and so much more.
On 2nd September, 2025, DVV Entertainment, the production house of the film, released the official teaser cum trailer on the occasion of Pawan Kalyan’s Birthday, who is the main cast/lead. In the trailer, the Antagonist OMI, played by Emraan Hashmi reads out a letter to OG – asking to see him and then killing him, as token of gift to the later- the video makes us acquainted with the character of the Villian and his violent nature and then sheds light on OG the protagonist – wielding a Japanese katana with the track Guns N’ Roses playing in the background, While 1 month earlier exactly on 9th August, another track of the film was released called “Firestorm” which initiated the frenzy among the audiences, focusing on the main character of the film OG also known as Ojas Gambheera- the animation and the cinematography bore similarities to the new track.
The film is set to release on 25th September 2025, directed by Sujeeth and produced by D.V.V. Danayya, under the banner of DVV Entertainment. The cast includes Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, who is going to make his debut film in the Telugu industry, and Priyanka Mohan.
