The much-awaited trailer of the Telugu movie Mirai, starring Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, and Ritika Nayak, was unveiled on Thursday, setting fire to a mythological display. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the film follows Teja’s next big screen outing after the blockbuster success of HanuMan (2023).

While in Hanuman, his character drew strength from Lord Hanuman; this time, the story appears to be guided by Lord Ram. The trailer starts with engaging visuals, where Teja’s character falls off a train, faces a massive eagle, and eventually steps into a battle against evil powers led by Manoj’s character. Ritika’s character seeks his help to reach the mysterious “Mirai.”

The production house shared the trailer on their respective social media accounts, captioning it: “Experience the power of BRAHMAND. This is HISTORY, this is FUTURE, this is MIRAI.”

Teja Sajja is at the core of this mythological narrative, who must find nine holy books to fulfill a mysterious vision as a “Super Yodha.” In his journey, Teja can be seen searching for holy weapons, including Lord Rama’s sacred staff. In the trailer’s closing shots, the deity later guides him.

The presence of Lord Ram has become a major talking point on the internet, with netizens’ excitement on social media. Many called it a “goosebumps moment” for the spiritual layer and larger visuals. From calling it the ‘peak moment’ to declaring the ‘last shot alone worth the ticket,’ fans shared the glimpses of Lord Rama from the trailer all over social media.

Mirai has been produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory. Mirai’s cast also includes actors like Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, and Jayaram in important roles.

Mirai will be released worldwide on September 12, 2025, in eight Indian languages. Karan Johar will be taking this film to North Indian theatres under his Dharma Productions banner.
