Actor and YouTuber, Apoorva Mukhija aka the Rebel Kid has found herself in yet another controversy after her ex-boyfriend, Utsav Dahiya released a fiery diss track “Cute Little Red Flags” allegedly calling her out for fabricating situations in order to gain sympathy and clout.

Popular YouTuber and Actor Apoorva Mukhija has landed herself in a fresh controversy after her ex-boyfriend released a diss track on his Instagram, accusing her of manipulating situations and fabricating lies for her benefit. This diss track was released immediately after Apoorva’s close friend, Sufi Motiwala, called her out on his Instagram stories for being selfish and taking no accountability for her actions, publicly cutting ties with her.

Utsav Dahiya, in his diss track, revealed how the Rebel Kid used him for content and allegedly cheated on him. He called her out for spreading unnecessary lies and gaining clout by spreading misinformation and warned if this continues, he would release the “receipts” to back his claims. This sudden move from Utsav caught everyone’s attention, with some netizens even calling it “Comeback of the century.”

This is not the first time the Rebel Kid has been caught in a controversy like this. Just a few months before this, she was heavily criticized for her “insensitive” and “controversial” statements on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent, leading to multiple FIRs being filed against her and the show as well.

Apoorva’s situation is a testament to what an impact a strong online presence has. One wrong action, one wrong move, can cost a person their entire career and reputation. While cancel culture has certainly reached its peak, it is also this cancel culture that sometimes brings forth the actual faces that hide behind the glamour of this world. Netizens today do not hesitate to call out the wrongdoings of anyone, be it a celebrity or any influencer.

In the end, the Rebel Kid’s case highlights both the power and peril of the digital age, where validation and defamation are just a post away!
